Veterans Day 2022

Today we celebrated these local people who were part of our program: Greg, the Outreach Director of Transform Burien, lead us in prayer. Kate Bysheim of Burien used her beautiful voice to sing the Star-Spangled Banner.

We were graced by the presence of Kim Ross, one of our Arts Committee Members from the Signal Box projects we have been working on, Dan Wend who created the art that will be on the Signal Boxes in Spring 2023.

Also in attendance were City of SeaTac Councilmember Peter Kwon and Highline Heritage Museum Director Nancy Salguero McKay.

We also paid tribute to local historian and WWI vet Judd Colburn:

Today I want to honor a good man, a community servant, Judd Colburn.  You may have heard the name Keeper of the Trees.  That was Judd!
